I took this photo in a restaurant we visited on Ile de Ré a few weeks ago. I just love the collection of old mirrors.. I'll be searching flea markets for old mirrors to make my own gallery mirror wall.. :)

New office

This is my new colourful office and my little "blog-spot".

I've put a new shelf up over my desk (with some help from my husband - THANKS!) and I love it! The new lamps are perfect and only cost 10€ each!

Had to include my new mat of course.

Magnus made the photo display in black and green at nursery. 
Fits in nicely.

I found my desk in a 2nd hand shop with a wobbly leg that actually only needed some glue. It was covered in candle wax, but I sanded it off and painted it black. It cost me the whole amount of 15€ including the paint. ;)

Total cost 145€ new chair, desk, shelf, 2 lamps and mats. :) 

DIY idea board

As to my inspiration it's from here. When I saw this I immediately new that I wanted to use this idea somewhere. I absolutely love the architecture lamps on the shelf.

The photos are from beautiful Hotel du Nord in Denmark. The lamps used here were a bit pricy for me, so instead I found some that cost 10€ each. They're not quite as cool, but they'll do.

First of all how nice was that to come home to?! Wow, 18 lovely supporting messages, 2 new members and 2 new likes of Facebook! Thank you sooo much! It was really nice to read them all. You're so sweet. Looks like Hege in France will continue the way it is. ;)

My diy rugcycling..

A while back I wrote about rugcyling and I've been meaning to have a go for ages.. Well here's my version.. Hope you like it! I was hoping to say it's easy, but it's not! :) It's highly frustrating, irritating and difficult! ha ha!

Would I do it again... YES, and I'm considering a much larger project.. a huge rug for our living room. This is a very good alternative to buying one huge rug and a much cheaper one. We'll see..
