The weekend

I'll be spending the weekend at the coast in La Rochelle and on Ile de Ré with my husband. Really looking forward to a couple of days on our own. It's been ages since we've been away together just the two of us. 

This was just me having some fun before leaving.. I love blackboards, masking tape, patterns, little brown pen cards, black and white and of course YELLOW..  ;) But most of all my BLOG.. Thank you so much for reading it!

Yesterday I found this cool shelf and pinned it to my pinterest pinboard... since then I've had 53 repins, so as it is so popular I thought I would share it even more.. ;) I really need to start making some of my DIY ideas..  I have a long list by now..  What is next on your DIY list?!

On my wishlist

are beautiful washed linen slipcovers from Bemz... they have lovely new industrial style ones out... mmm! Love them! I would like a white one for my dark grey sofa. Imagine how that would change the room..

and a beige one for our bed..

I recently discovered that I have a reader in Uruguay! I asked Tine if I could feature some of her lovely photos and she said yes. Check out her blog White life. She's also got lots of nice DIY ideas. One example is the white and blue tablecloth made from old shirts! ;)
